- Foreigners are allowed to buy the apartments and commercial housing projects directly from investors in Vietnam. The shelf life is 50 years (renewable).

- Vietnamese residences in overseas and overseas Vietnamese (with Vietnamese nationality) are allowed to buy houses in Vietnam (without time limit).
